According to <i>Azzaman</i>. the Companies Registration Department at the
Iraqi Trade ministry registered and gave the needed permission for 25 Iraqi
companies and one foreign company to start their operations in the
country. A source at the ministry said that the companies include 16
limited companies and 8 limited liability companies, distributed to five
commercial companies and 11 contracting companies and transportation and
services companies.
The source added that the department has carried out a comprehensive
due diligence about these companies, and opened a special file for each
company.
