Industrial City of Abu Dhabi (ICAD) has lured some Dh11 billion in investment in the past three years and a new law is expected to bring additional funds, a top official has said, according to Gulf News.
Hussain Al Nowais, board member of the Higher Corporation for Special Economic Zones in Abu Dhabi was quoted as saying that plans were being drawn up to transform the capital into a regional industrial and logistics hub through public-private partnerships.
The total area of the Industrial City is 24km2, located north of the marine canal, 30km from the centre of Abu Dhabi City and 25km from Abu Dhabi International Airport.
