The Dubai Quality Group (DQG) has launched a new quarterly magazine, The Quality Review, devoted to championing business excellence and quality in the Middle East and better reflecting Dubai's role as a leader in quality applications, according to a company press release. DQG hopes that it will become bilingual and bi-monthly by next year.

The Quality Review will be distributed to all group members, leading companies and government organizations throughout the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. DQG Vice President Ahmed Al-Banna was appointed editor of The Quality Review. DQG has published a quarterly magazine, The Middle East Quality Review, since 1996 but Group management have decided on a fresh look and format.

“The magazine will be open to receiving articles on all aspects of management and especially case studies on the development of Quality Management Systems within companies in the Middle East. Profiles of member companies of the DQG will also be published,” Mansoor Al-Awar, who has been the DQG Chairman for the last two years.

DQG is a non-profit organization that was set up in 1994 sponsored by Dubai’s Department of Economic Development. It is currently supported by over 300 private and public enterprises in Dubai with a membership of over 2,000 individual professional managers and is committed to the development of a well-educated and skilled workforce and improving business performance. — (menareport.com)
