According to <i>Azzaman</i> newspaper, the Technical Committee in the Council of the Iraqi Governorate of Ninve Province estimated at $1,019,000,000 the rebuilding costs of Ninve . This amount of money includes vital sectors of the governorate such as rebuilding electricity projects, water projects, sewage projects, roads projects, in addition to rebuilding the educational and health sector in the province.
The committee sent its rebuilding plan to the central commission in charge of the entire rebuilding program of Iraq. The central commission is expected to approve Ninwa rebuilding plan and to allocate the necessary funds for this plan.
