Non-Jordanian investment at Amman Stock Exchange(ASE) increased to JD84 million until the end of July 2004, compared to JD17 million for the same period of last year.
According to statistics issued by ASE, the value of purchased shares by non-Jordanian investors stood at JD 224.2 million and the sold shares for the same period JD 140.2 million.
Arab investors' purchases reached JD 202 million, making 90.1 per cent of total value of non-Jordanian investment, whereas the value of purchase of non-Arab stood at JD 22.2 million for the same period, making 9.9 per cent of total purchase of non-Jordanian. (menareport.com)
