During the third quarter of 2005, Oman's Gross Domestic Productrose by 23.1 percent. Statistics released by the ministry of economy said this rise was a result of the growth in the oil sector activities and the related extraction of natural gas, that increased by 43.1 percent, Kuna reported.
The local production of the crude and bi-products, namely natural gas, posted, in the end of September last year, a rise of 42.1 percent.
