Oman Telecommunications Company adds new service

Oman Telecommunications Company (OTC) has ntroduced “Sahl”; a new prepaid fixed telephone line service which the company says allows subscribers to maintain full control over their telephone calls and is ideal for use at home or small businesses.  

 

Eng. Mohammed bin Ali al Wahaibi, OTC Executive President, said in a statement after the launch of the new service at Radisson SAS Hotel Saturday that “Sahl” service was part of OTC’s ongoing efforts to meet increasing telecom service requirements of subscribers in the Sultanate which he said continued to exceed expectation.  

 

The new service does not require applicant to provide initial deposit or a guarantee letter from employee. Connection charges are set at RO. 10 and the service is offered against a monthly rental that may be paid yearly (RO.19.2) or half yearly (RO. 10.8).  

 

Free caller line identification and call waiting features are offered as part of the service.  

 

Incoming calls will be offered free of charge and outgoing calls can be made with the use of Jibreen prepaid calling card.  

 

The “Sahl” service makes internet access possible with the use of Al Ufuq internet prepaid card or the permanent dial up account. (menareport.com)
