Ower 30,000 people will reside at the $1 billion (BD378 million) Durrat Al Bahrain residential and resort city, being built in the south of Bahrain.
The project, which could be the start of a major population centre in the now unpopulated area, has lured interest from schools, a hospital and a university, which plan to be established in the area to support the residents of the project, said chief executive officer Jassim Al Jowder, according to GDN.
