The Dubai Festival City site now has power after the completion of its new 132/11 kV substation by ETA Ascon's Power Projects Division.
The project, costing Dh37 million, will provide power for the "city within a city," which will see Al Badia Golf Resort, apartments and 1.8 million sq. ft. of waterfront shopping and entertainment space built in the next two years. Al Futtaim is the project developer, while DEWA commissioned the station. (menareport.com)
