90% nationalization rate in administrative positions at Shamil Centre for vehicle testing and registration

Emirates General Petroleum Corporation "Emarat" has realized a 90% rate in the nationalization of all administrative positions at its Shamil Centre for vehicle testing and registration service of light vehicles in Dubai and the Northern Emirates. This comes in line with the Corporation's policy and plan to nationalize some of the key sectors and the provision of suitable job opportunities for the UAE's citizens. 

Dr. Rahma bin Mohamed Al Shamsi, Retail Sales Manager at Emarat, said that the Corporation, and through its development strategy, is targeting the objective of achieving a 100% nationalization rate in some service sectors, especially the administrative ones. Emarat seeks to realize this objective in the upcoming period, in order to achieve its plans aiming to provide sustainable job opportunities for the citizens of the UAE, and giving them the opportunity of employment, in addition to providing vacant and suitable jobs for them.  

Dr. Al Shamsi also said that the Corporation endeavors to overcome all the obstacles hindering the employment of UAE nationals looking for jobs, so that they would be the foundation of a complete and sustainable employment process. Emarat also seeks to enable their presence in the employment market. He further clarified that Emarat, within this context aiming to develop national capacities, organizes various training programs designed especially for new employees in order to train them and prepare them for their different job tasks. 

Mr. Ahmed Ismail Abdullah, Manager Vehicle Testing at Emarat, said that the technical testing and vehicles registration services, provided by Emarat at chosen service stations, in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior in Northern Emirates, and the Roads and Transportation Authority "RTA" in Dubai, is considered the best and the newest in the Middle East. These services are modern and distinct, and they help in easing the load off traffic departments, through the provision of a sophisticated and high quality service in testing and registering vehicles, through the application of the latest automated systems, all within comfortable and easy atmospheres. Emarat's Shamil Centers provide the services of vehicle's testing and insurance, payment of fines, issuance of new ownership cards and many other services. 

Shamil vehicles' testing and registration services are available in Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain and Fujairah. They are also available at three service stations in Dubai, namely Al Adhed, Muhaisnah and Nad Al Hamar.
