Background Information

Abu Dhabi Ship Building

Abu Dhabi Ship Building (ADSB), one of the region’s leading shipyards, we have leveraged our historic relationship with the UAE Navy to develop innovative solutions for  customers across diverse sectors, while striving to expand our international footprint.

Our story began in 1996, spurred by the vision of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces who understood the need of developing a home-grown world-class ship yard facility in Abu Dhabi to support the UAE Navy. We initially focused on naval repairs and refitting services and gradually expanded our expertise to include building sophisticated war ships like the Baynunah 70m Corvette.
