Abu Dhabi University redesigns and launches all new website

Updated content, efficient and user- friendly navigation, and quick access to information and services are just some of the elements now available in Abu Dhabi University’s new website. Launched today (Sunday) as part of the University’s 10th anniversary celebrations plan, the new website integrates ADU’s leading social media presence on its homepage as well as a constantly updated academic calendar that updates students on important deadlines. 

Dr. Nabil Ibrahim, Chancellor of Abu Dhabi University explained that the University’s newly restructured and enhanced website represents ADU’s commitment to provide better communication channels within the community it serves. “We’ve taken the input of students, parents, faculty and staff into consideration while redesigning and restructuring Abu Dhabi University’s new website. The homepage provides information on current and upcoming student activities, the latest news from both of the University’s campuses and a newly developed section for parents, through which they can find information on our programs, campus accommodation and get a closer look at the wealth of academic experience available among the ranks of ADU’s renowned faculty”, said Dr. Ibrahim. 

“In its current phase the new website offers information on our services, campuses, affiliations with international organizations as well as a complete list of the students clubs and a closer look at the diverse campus life offered to students at ADU. In its next phase, the website’s content will be updated further to produce the Arabic version, as well as a section especially for our Alumni”, concluded Dr. Ibrahim.

The dream began with the Charter of Abu Dhabi University in the year 2000, After three years of planning, the university opened its doors in September 2003, to an entering class of 1,000 students on its two campuses in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. Unlike other colleges and universities in the UAE, ADU undertook the measures necessary to ensure that all of the degree programs it would offer had secured accreditation from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in advance of any students enrolling in them.
