ADAC and NAS Group sign new agreement for provision of all Golden Class services

In-line with the company’s vision in becoming the world’s leading airports group, and following on the success of Abu Dhabi International Airport of being voted “Best Airport in the Middle East”, Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) have signed an agreement with the National Aviation Services Group (NAS) to further develop its best in class services to customers travelling through the capital’s airport. The new agreement gives NAS the provision of managing and operating Golden Class services at Abu Dhabi International Airport on behalf of ADAC.

ADAC’s partnership with NAS Group is part of the strategy implemented by the company to build on the recent rating of the capital’s airport as a 4-star airport, ensuring the continuous development and innovation in the airport’s offerings and services. This partnership will provide travelers at Abu Dhabi international Airport exposure to an extensive global customer service network that will save costs and provide a seamless customer experience. In addition, this agreement falls in line with the Abu Dhabi Government recommendations in encouraging public-private partnership (PPP) to support the diversification strategy.

The agreement was signed between James E. Bennett, CEO of ADAC and Hassan El-Houry, CEO NAS Group, and became effective on 01st May 2012, with all current Golden Class employees to be transferred to NAS.

Commenting on the announcement, Ali Al Qaizi, Head of Hospitality at ADAC, said: “With this new partnership, ADAC will continue to develop its efficient and effective customer service. With the rapid growth forecasted for Abu Dhabi’s tourism and business sectors, ADAC will work closely with its new business partner NAS Group who will facilitate seamless customer experiences to support the overall airport services.”

Hassan El-Houry, CEO NAS Group, added: “At NAS, we are committed to becoming the service provider of choice in the region and eager to build a mutually beneficial partnership that supports ADAC in its journey to achieve an internationally recognized position. We look forward to introducing new services for all travelers whilst maintaining the service excellence of Abu Dhabi International Airport every day.”

Abu Dhabi International Airport’s Golden Class was first launched in 1998 to offer a range of Meet and Assist services at the airport. Today, 14 years later, Golden Class is joining hands with one of the region’s leading aviation service providers, NAS Group.

NAS is an internationally reputed aviation services’ provider with a regional presence and financial backing. The group provides various aviation services, which range from Passenger Services to Aviation Security services, and are based on talent and quality.
