Adnoc Employees Celebrate International Day of Happiness

The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) marked the International Day of Happiness today by spreading joy and happiness amongst its employees. It organized a range of activities to celebrate the occasion.

“At ADNOC we firmly believe in a culture where the company plays an active role in ensuring employees’ happiness and wellbeing. Committed and dedicated employees support our organization in achieving its business goals and this can only be done if employees enjoy their work and have a balanced feeling of wellbeing in all aspects of their lives,” said Mr. Ghannam Al Mazrouei, Director, Human Capital & Administration.

Happiness and Wellbeing are a fundamental goal in the UAE and aligned with the leadership’s vision, ADNOC continues to reaffirm its strategic focus on its people, a core part of its 2030 strategy. Today, it continues to build on efforts it has made recently such as the establishment a Happiness and Wellbeing Committee and a program with activities dedicated to the seven different dimensions of wellbeing. These include health, work, intellectual, emotional, spiritual, social and environmental factors - each being essential for a fulfilling life.

“People are the bedrock of all that we do. Our Happiness and Wellbeing Program is central in enabling our people to help us do things differently, grow and make a positive and long-lasting impact on the UAE. We encourage all employees to take advantage of the activities in the program that help them to manage their own wellbeing,” said Mr. Al Mazrouei.

As part of Happiness Day celebrations, ADNOC offered a series of lectures held throughout the day focused on managing stress, developing resilience, mindfulness, connecting food, body and soul as well as handed out healthy treats as an expression of ADNOC’s commitment to enhancing employees’ wellbeing.
