ADUKG hosts Iftar for group of UAE orphans alongside Emirates Red Crescent

As part of its WeCare CSR initiative, Abu Dhabi University Knowledge Group (ADUKG), hosted an Iftar for a large group of UAE orphans who are supported by Emirates Red Crescent. The event, held at ADUKG’s main campus, was aimed at providing a fun and memorable evening for the children, with engaging activities following the Iftar itself.
ADUKG staff were also present, interacting with and encouraging attendees as they split into teams and undertook a painting challenge to add their own artistic flair to nine different sections of a larger Ramadan picture. The pieces were then assembled into a final artwork, with the children eagerly voting on which team had produced the best contribution.
“We are very pleased to have hosted this Iftar with a group of such enthusiastic and engaged children. We really hope that they had an entertaining and memorable evening, as I can certainly say that everyone at ADUKG enjoyed their visit. Our business is committed to engaging with, and contributing to, the wider community in which we operate. Evenings such as this are a great way to reinforce this commitment and make a direct and positive impact,” said Dr. Ahmad Badr, Chief Executive Officer of ADUKG.
ADUKG’s WeCare initiative undertakes a range of projects and schemes specifically aimed at making a positive social and economic impact, using our particular knowledge and resources to help address specific regional issues. The initiative’s current areas of focus are Education, Society, Health, and the Environment.
