As part of its ongoing commitment to engage with community and employees, Al Manara, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Saraya Aqaba recently celebrated the Holy Month of Ramadan through continuous happenings.

As part of its ongoing commitment to engage with community and employees, Al Manara, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Saraya Aqaba recently celebrated the Holy Month of Ramadan through continuous happenings.

They kicked off their activities in this holy month with a CSR event, as they hosted 100 orphans for Iftar who had celebrated Eid with the passionate team of Al Manara Hotel, and received gifts and Eid clothes. This event came through the hotel’s collaboration with “Basmet Shabab Al-Khair” initiative and aimed in supporting the surrounding community and showing compassionate and concerned sentiments towards underprivileged kids.  

Another celebration was participating in Marriott International’s initiative that caters to serve cab drivers during Iftar. This initiative turned into an annual tradition for many cab drivers throughout the region and is being done by most of Marriott hotels where they offer complimentary Iftar packs for cab drivers who drive through the main entrance of the hotel, to break their fast. The initiative has been widely appreciated by hotel owners, local communities and transport authorities.

It is worth noting that Al Manara Hotel also organized an interactive Iftar event for its associates from across various departments within the hotel, showing appreciation and acknowledgement for their efforts at the hotel, in an attempt to build bridges with all team members.

Commenting on the Holy Month’s activities, the Hotel Manager of Al Manara Hotel, Pedro Rodriguez expressed: “It is wonderful to see the spirit of Ramadan in our passionate associates in all our activities during this holy month, as they enjoyed helping orphans and connecting with cabs drivers, that all shows our commitment towards social responsibility activations. We take pride in our continuous efforts not to miss any chance to thank our employees and give a helping hand to the community.”
