All-New Land Rover discovery makes debut in Jordan at Mahmoudia Motors launch event

Mahmoudia Motors – the sole and official dealer of Jaguar and Land Rover cars in Jordan – has revealed the full-sized, three row, seven-seat All-New Land Rover Discovery SUV in Jordan at a launch event held on Wednesday, 17 May, 2017, at Blue Fig restaurant and café in Amman.

Boasting unbeatable capability and versatility, the All-New Discovery clearly embodies Land Rover’s drive to go Above and Beyond, combining British desirability with an unstoppable spirit of adventure. The fifth-generation model benefits from Land Rover’s strong, safe and light full-size SUV architecture, delivering comfort and adaptability like no other.

Powered by Jaguar Land Rover’s efficient range of six cylinder engines, the All-New Discovery is also paired with a smooth and responsive ZF eight-speed automatic gearbox. Among its many intuitive and innovative features, the family SUV includes semi-autonomous safety technology, world-beating all-terrain capabilities, up to 2,500-litres of luggage space and clever storage, and up to nine USB ports and six 12-volt charging points.

The All-New Discovery launch event began by paying tribute to Land Rover’s opulent English heritage, gathering guests – which included VIPs, media personnel, social media influencers and loyal Mahmoudia Motors customers – in a ‘Salon Inglaterra’, where they were treated to a Victorian-era ambiance and a deconstructed tea party. Next, highlighting the All-New Discovery’s position at the intersection between Land Rover’s long history and the brand’s forward-looking, technological future, invitees transitioned into the event’s main area, which was decorated with a postmodern, futuristic theme representing the progressive, adventurous soul of the All-New Discovery.

Throughout the event, the All-New Discovery was on full display, giving guests a first look at the vehicle’s dynamic appearance, sophisticated surfaces and precisely engineered details. The SUV was showcased alongside the entire Land Rover family, providing invitees with the opportunity to interact with the Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Range Rover Evoque, and Discovery Sport, as well as a selection of Land Rover lifestyle items.
