American Express Middle East and Royal Jordanian Airlines announced a new enhanced programme that will give Cardmembers even more opportunities to earn rewards on Royal Jordanian Airlines. American Express Middle East’s Cardmembers can now exchange every 2 Membership Rewards points for 1 Royal Jordanian Royal Plus Mile.

Membership Rewards is an award-winning rewards programme from American Express where one point is earned for nearly every $1US Dollar, or equivalent, spent on the Card. Membership Rewards points do not expire and can be redeemed across a wide selection of reward categories including flights, hotels, dining and entertainment, a variety of merchandise, and charity donations.

Now with the enhanced Royal Plus Mile programme with Royal Jordanian Airlines, American Express Middle East Cardmembers have even more options and flexibility when redeeming their rewards. To celebrate the new programme, a prize draw will be held to reward five lucky Cardmembers with 40,000 bonus Royal Plus Miles each – enough for a return flight from Amman to London on Royal Jordanian Airlines. American Express Middle East’s Cardmembers will earn one entry into the prize draw for every 1,000 Membership Rewards points transferred to the Royal Plus programme.

“Our association with Royal Jordanian Airlines dates back to 2004 and is one of the many ways in which we strive to provide meaningful and rewarding benefits which meet the needs of our Cardmembers in the Levant and across the region,” said Lina Madi Country Manager Jordan, American Express Middle East. “With 11 airline partners, American Express Middle East offers by the far the strongest airline rewards programme in the MENA region. The enhanced rewards programme with Royal Jordanian Airlines provides American Express Cardmembers with even greater convenience, flexibility and value.”

“We are delighted to work with American Express Middle East to continue to enrich our Royal Plus offerings and provide added value and extra flexibility to our members through our expanding partnership network.” said Yola Isaac, Director Customer Experience, Market Research & Business Development, Royal Jordanian.
