Arabian Automobiles, the flagship company of the AW Rostamani Group and the exclusive dealer for Nissan in Dubai, Sharjah and the Northern Emirates, is reintroducing thousands of eager fans to the revived Nissan Patrol Super Safari at the Dubai International Motor Show 2017, which runs from 14th to 18th November at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The iconic off-road vehicle is back by popular demand with a range of enhancements for the modern day driver, and is being relaunched alongside the new Nissan Maxima Midnight Edition.

Michel Ayat, CEO of Arabian Automobiles, commented: “We are proud to be relaunching the Nissan Patrol Super Safari, which is an all-time favourite with our local audience and is one of the most coveted off-road vehicles ever sold in the region. The Patrol’s heritage goes back decades and is bound up with the deserts of the Arabian Peninsula, which underpins its lasting popularity among customers. Not only are we bringing back the Nissan Patrol Super Safari but our customers are free to purchase it directly at our stand.”

The new Nissan Patrol Super Safari retains the Patrol’s deep-rooted heritage while offering a range of new innovations to combine off-road capability with modern-day comfort. Customers will find that the vehicle’s iconic, rugged exterior has been enhanced with machine-cut 17-inch black alloy wheels, dual-tone body colours, flared fenders, a rear spoiler and a Super Safari body stripe. The interior has also been redesigned with all-new tan leather seats and door trim and is now kitted out with driver aids including a navigation system, front and rear parking sensors with a rear view camera, and Bluetooth to offer a more modern in-car experience.

The vehicle is also more powerful than ever before with a 4.8L DOHC in-line 6-cylinder engine that produces 280hp and a mighty 46kg or 451Nm of torque, allowing it to power up and down dunes or tow heavy objects with ease. Its formidable all-terrain prowess is underscored by superior engineering including a 5-speed automatic transmission with manual mode, as well as Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) and a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) that enhance on-road driving. With the new Nissan Patrol Super Safari, customers can conquer desert dunes or manoeuvre through traffic at rush hour with equal comfort and ease.

The Nissan Patrol Super Safari is being relaunched alongside the new Nissan Maxima Midnight – a vehicle that combines the segment-leading features of the original Maxima with new interior and exterior design cues that command attention. The exclusive edition features all-new black alloy wheels, a black rear sport spoiler, a black rear diffuser and a charcoal interior, enhancing the vehicle’s dynamic and sporty design. The Maxima stands out on the road thanks to its V-Motion front-end, signature boomerang lights, kick-up C-pillars and unique floating roof, and will now command even more attention in its Midnight attitude.

Customers can become proud owners of the new Nissan Patrol Super Safari and Nissan Maxima Midnight at the Dubai International Motor Show 2017, where they can purchase the vehicles directly at Arabian Automobiles’ stand for the first time. Customers are also encouraged to book test drives at Arabian Automobiles showrooms across Dubai, Sharjah and the Northern Emirates to experience the Nissan Patrol Super Safari’s legendary drive and the Nissan Maxima Midnight’s head-turning power out on the road.
