Bahrain National Day Celebrated at Abu Dhabi Airports
Abu Dhabi Airports has celebrated the National Day of Bahrain through a number of events and activities. Its celebration of the Kingdom’s National Day is in line with the organization’s aims of providing a world class passenger experience, alongside highlighting the close brotherly and historical ties between the UAE and Bahrain.
Passengers arriving from Bahrain at Abu Dhabi International Airport were greeted with Bahraini flags, and Abu Dhabi Airports’ employees sought to spread the festive cheer by joining in the celebrations at the airport.
Speaking ahead of the celebration, Ahmed Al Shamisi, Acting Chief Operations Officer of Abu Dhabi Airports, commented: “The UAE and Bahrain enjoy close and warm historical ties, and we have sought to recognize their importance to us in Abu Dhabi through welcoming passengers in a festive spirit today.”
