Baladna May Start Exports in 2019

QATARI dairy and meat producer Baladna is expected to start exporting its wide range of products in early 2019, a press release said on Sunday.
Baladna is preparing to set up a Poultry Parent Stock Farm in Qatar with a production capacity of 50 million eggs per year. It will also produce broiler chickens to help meet the needs of Qatar.
Besides, Baladna plans to set up farms for broilers chickens with a capacity to produce 42 million chickens per year and layers' chicken farms with a capacity to produce 200 million eggs per year.
The company is also planning a slaughterhouse with a production capacity of 200,000 chickens per day. The work will be carried out during the current month. The entire project will be ready in the middle of 2019.
Baladna continues its national efforts to contribute to self-sufficiency in the areas of milk, dairy, white cheese, fresh juice, red meat, broiler chickens, table eggs and fodder.
Baladna prepared its expansion plans right after the unjust siege imposed on the State of Qatar. It boasts of state-of-the-art agricultural and industrial facilities as well as products that enjoy the highest standards of quality and value.
Baladna also plans to process all its wastes to convert it into organic fertilisers.
