Bank Nizwa celebrates Teacher’s Day with Abdullah bin Al Arqam and Hail Al Awamer schools

As part of its continuous commitment to the community, Bank Nizwa recently partnered with two schools in Wilayat Dima Wa Al Tayeen and Wilayat Al Seeb to celebrate Teacher’s Day. Reflecting its longstanding support to educators in the Sultanate, Bank Nizwa paid tribute to more than 150 teachers for the important role they play in shaping and developing Omani society.  

Mr. Khalid Al Kayed, CEO of Bank Nizwa, said, “Teachers are the most important role models for our youth with their lessons going far beyond academics. They are not only instrumental in providing knowledge, but inspiring generations to reach their full potential. While we can never thank educators enough, this is our way at Bank Nizwa of celebrating those who continue to provide our youth with a gateway to achieving their aspirations.”

Guided by the principles of Shari’a, Bank Nizwa has consistently demonstrated its corporate stewardship and support for local communities through a number of initiatives designed to spur social and economic development. The bank’s many campaigns and CSR projects include regular blood donation drives, Quran competitions, and coastal clean-up drives.
