Bank Sarasin-Alpen wins the Arabia CSR Awards 2011

Bank Sarasin-Alpen Limited, Dubai won the Arabia CSR Awards 2011 Small category at an awards ceremony held at the Grand Hyatt, Dubai on 26th October, 2011. Bank Sarasin-Alpen has the honour of being the only private bank to be recognized by the Arabia CSR awards since it was launched four years ago. 

Bank Sarasin-Alpen is a subsidiary of Bank Sarasin & Co, Switzerland - an organization which is known for Sustainable Swiss private banking since 1841. The Sarasin Group is incorporated in the GCC as Sarasin-Alpen. It was established in the region through its first office in Dubai in 2005 and since then has built a strong presence by expanding its operations to Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Oman and India. The Arabia CSR Awards were launched in 2008 and are organized, for the second year, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President, Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman and CEO, Emirates Group, Chairman, Dubai Airports. The awards recognize and honour organizations in the Arab region that demonstrate outstanding leadership and commitment in corporate sustainability. Arabia CSR Awards is the only awards framework that is supported by the UNGC (United Nations Global Compact) in the region.  This year marks the fourth cycle of the Arabia CSR Awards.
