Bawadi Mall Hosts Exciting Bey Battle Burst-Road to South Korea Tournament

Bawadi Mall in Al Ain hosted the exciting BeyBattle Burst-Road to South Korea Tournament, the qualifying round for the Asian Championship for the age group 6-12. The tournament selected Ali Saeed Ali Asahib Alyammahi as the winner, a UAE representative who will be flown to South Korea to compete with other global contenders in the Asia Championship. Peter Marc Oliver Navarro Naredo was declared as the runner-up for the tournament.
“Contenders from all over the UAE gathered here at Bawadi Mall to compete and represent the country in the Asia Championship. The UAE champion will be sponsored to travel to South Korea together with a guardian. Hosting the event has been a part of our commitment to support major activities that will showcase the UAE’s talents and skills on the global stage,” said Bassam Saleh, Marketing Director for Bawadi Mall.

Boys and girls aged 6 - 12 were eligible to join the championship. To qualify, children were required to have three tops of BeyBattle Blades and one Sword Launcher. Customized tops of BeyBattle Blades were allowed as long as those were authentic and had a Tomy Trademark. The mechanics of the championship were simple, commencing with BeyBattle Blades being inspected before entering the tournament practice area. It then followed with three BeyBattle Blades to be put and hidden inside a box before the match started. Lastly, the box was provided by the usher before entering the tournament area.
The BeyBattle tournament was an opportunity for passionate and enthusiastic BeyBlade fans to represent their country on the world stage. While the shortlisted contentder has a chance to play the game in the final round, the first runner up won a PS4, and the remaining 16 players received a special edition BeyBattle Collectors Box and a Golden Launcher.
