BTEA’s Handicrafts Directorate Distributes Certificates to Participants of the Porcelain Accessories Workshop
The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), represented by the Handicrafts Directorate, held a graduation ceremony in which they distributed certificates to 10 participants for successfully completing the Porcelain Accessories Workshop on February 5, 2020, at Al Jasra Handicrafts Centre
The workshop, held over 48 hours between January 19 and February 5, was presented by Mina Faker and focused on the basic techniques used in creating accessories made of porcelain. This comes as part of BTEA’s ongoing efforts to preserve Bahrain's handicrafts and traditions for future generations as well as promote local artisan goods.
Hosting the workshop also comes in line with BTEA’s commitment to host a variety of training courses throughout the year and enhance the unique skills and knowledge required to take on traditional crafts from one generation to the next.
