Burgan Bank Celebrates Earth Day

Burgan Bank, one of the leading contributors to sustainability in Kuwait, recently participated in the widely celebrated initiative – World Earth Day. The bank and its employees observed the popular day by switching off for 60 minutes all of the lights and cutting off electricity from all of the equipment throughout the Head Office and Bayan Branch.
The exercise that was led by Burgan Bank's internal communication unit in the Human Resources and Development Department is part of their on-going mission to integrate healthy practices among the employees through diverse and special activities.
By conducting this initiative, Burgan Bank continues to create positive change in the community by supporting eco-friendly and impactful activities. Through the observation of World Earth day, the bank demonstrated the importance of a green society by adapting little changes and encouraged its staff to preserve Mother Nature and its resources.
