Burgan Bank Holds Blood Donation Drive in Partnership With the Kuwait Central Blood Bank

In keeping with its corporate social responsibility agenda, Burgan Bank recently organized a Blood Donation drive at its headquarters for the staff. The Blood Donation drive in partnership with the Kuwait Central Blood Bank took place under the theme of “You too can save a life”, and was aimed at raising awareness on the need for blood and the difference it can make in people’s lives plus shed the light on the importance of donating blood all year long to support the Blood Bank.

The initiative gathered 55 number of volunteers from the bank staff to deliver a total of 45 blood bags.

Burgan Bank’s blood donation drive comes in line with its long-standing commitment to improving and sustaining the overall healthcare sector as much as the Banking sector. The bank highlighted that donating blood is a noble act, for both the donor and the recipient as it enhances community culture and wellbeing.

Burgan Bank’s social responsibility framework revolves around launching and supporting humanitarian initiatives that help in uplifting the needs of various sectors in the society.  The bank will continue to open more chapters in its dedication towards the social fabric of Kuwait through similar activities.
