As one of the highest contributors to society and a dedicated sponsor to one of Kuwait’s most celebrated athletes, Tareq Al-Qallaf, Burgan Bank extends its best wishes to the globally acclaimed player for the upcoming contest taking place in Columbus, Ohio, USA between March 2 – March 4, 2018. Competing in several competitions this year, Al Qallaf is now poised to represent Kuwait at the Arnold Fencing Classic, a part of the Arnold Sports Festival which is the largest multi-sport festival in the world.

Sponsoring for four consecutive years, Burgan Bank remains committed to the growth and success of the home grown Fencing titleholder as he prepares to compete in the fifteenth Arnold Fencing Classic followed by the Pennsylvania Championship at the World Club in May, the US Open in September and New Jersey Copa in October.

Held for 3 days, the prestigious Arnold Schwarzenegger Sports Festival will be featuring over 50 sports and events with an expected 180,000 spectators, and 19,000 athletes. Considered a unique event with medals unlike other contests in the world of fencing, 2018 brings the return of Wheelchair fencing to the Arnold Fencing Classic.
