Canon Middle East wins major ‘Print for Pay’ tender from Printness Egypt

Canon Middle East today announced it has won a major tender from Printness, Egypt’s leading digital and off-set printing house for the supply of a Canon imagePRESS 6010 unit. The contract valued at US $ 150,000 represents one of the biggest tenders offered for bidding in the ‘pay for print’ industry in 2011.

“Colour management can be very challenging, with regular calibration needed to produce the best results, but it can also disrupt production processes. Through Canon’s imagePRESS digital printing solutions, we have been able to eliminate paper rejections and wastage accrued by many printing houses because of inconsistency in colour and delays in production,” added Naoshi. 

Naoshi also explained that with the imagePRESS 6010, Printness can produce documents that rival offset quality and maintain superior colour consistency for a wide range of jobs, including books, hard-copy reproductions, direct mail pieces, and other marketing collateral.
