City Mall Illuminates In Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness

As October marks the beginning of breast cancer awareness month, City Mall, the city’s favourite, lights up the mall’s exterior in pink to raise awareness about the disease.

Over the past few years, City Mall has shown its commitment in taking part in this global initiative; as it falls under the mall’s corporate social responsibility towards the Jordanian society to raise awareness and encourage all to learn more on how to prevent it and reduce its chances, in addition to support all women fighting it.

Mrs. Maram Enaya, Assistant General Manager of Commercial Affairs at City Mall, stressed on the importance of mammograms for the early detection of breast cancer, saying: “City Mall obligations are not only limited to providing the best retail services and shopping experiences for the visitors, it is to play an active role in building a conscious and healthy community. Pink October is a great initiative to commemorate breast cancer awareness, to celebrate its survivors, and most of all, to stand by all the women battling it and encourage them defeat it.”
