ALBAWABA - A new song by the famous Egyptian rock band Cairokee, named "Tata Tata" (تاتا تاتا), has generated millions of views in a few days of release, including a part mocking U.S. President Donald Trump.
Cairokee band released a new album, called "Supernova", which gained positive reactions among fans, but this one did leave a mark online, with at least 512,000 people having listened to the song in only two days.
In the song's final verse, Amir Eid describes US President Donald Trump as worthless, comparing him to "fast food junk."
The song's words are "Honestly, this world is awful.
It looks like a Tesla.
Like Trump's fast food junk.
Inflated but useless."
The song is one of 10 tracks on Cairokee's album "Supernova," and there is growing interest from the Arab world's artistic and musical community in the album's musical style and project.
Several artists and intellectuals, including Egyptian writer Abdel Rahim Kamal, have described it as a unique musical phenomenon, standing apart from the recent cacophony of popular music.
