Commemorative coin issued to celebrate 50th anniversary of Dubai Chamber

Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in cooperation with Central Bank of the UAE, has announced the issuing of a commemorative coin to mark the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Chamber.
The commemorative one dirham coin includes an image of the Dubai Chamber headquarters, which is the first building outside of the US and Canada to get green building rating LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) for existing buildings.
The Central Bank of the UAE has put the commemorative one dirham coin in circulation from the beginning of November 2015 through its branches in accordance with normal procedures.
On this occasion, H.E. Hamad Buamim, President and CEO,Dubai Chamber, said: “We are extremely pleased to immortalise the golden jubilee of Dubai Chamber and celebrate its leading contributions to the business sector through this commemorative coin. This momentous occasion will motivate us to continue our efforts to successfully implement our strategic plans aimed at supporting the business community, and providing the best services to the sector in Dubai.”
