ALBAWABA - The kidnapping and the murder of Iranian religious singer Hamidreza Rajabzadeh sparked wide debate across the country amid fears of the resumption of killings and executions.
About 18 days ago, Rajabzadeh, a pro-Iranian regime religious singer, went missing, but last week a video of his damaged body was published on a counter-revolutionary channel and circulated online, and finally his body was found two days ago around Tehran.
The religious singer is well-known for being a pro-Iranian regime religious singer, and his death triggered anger among the community.
The Iranian security forces arrested six people over the abductions and the killing of Hamidreza Rajabzadeh.
According to IRNA, the police spokesperson's office announced that after the arrest of the main suspect in the Hamidreza Rajabzadeh case, investigations and pursuit by police detectives are underway to probe the cause and more details of this crime.

It said, "With the efforts of the technical and expert team of detectives of the Fateb Police, the main suspect in the murder of Hamidreza Rajabzadeh was identified and arrested."
According to Iranian media, the suspects have received thousands of dollars for the killing of the religious singer.
Many called on the authorities in Iran to hand down the death penalty for those linked to the crime of murdering the religious singer. The hashtag "#محاکمه_و_اعدام_قاتلین_رجب_زاده" [Trial and execute killers of Rajabzadeh] has been trending among the Iranian social media platforms.
