The Department of Municipal Affairs organizing a Seminar

As part of its commitment to enhance knowledge management, to encourage creativity and innovation among employees of the municipal system, and to shed light on the concept of measuring and managing performance in the public sector, the office of knowledge management “Musharaka” at the Department of Municipal Affairs (DMA) will organize on the 26^th of this month, a seminar entitled “Measuring and managing performance in the public sector“.

This seminar will be presented in the Municipal Theatre, Abu Dhabi Municipality by Professor Gary Cokins, Principle, Global Business Advisors with SAS, a leading provider of business intelligence and software headquartered in Cary, North Carolina.

This seminar will be held at a time when the public sector organizations at all levels around the world are facing intense pressure to do more with less. And they are in need to adopt enterprise performance management and focus on accountability for outputs and outcomes while measuring and managing performance in the public sector will lead to more efficiency and higher productivity and better customers relations and satisfaction.

The Seminar will be attended by a large numbers of experts and representatives in public and private entities and companies.
