DJ Mustafa Do Brazil heads back to Tamanya Terrace on 26 October 2011

Tamanya Terrace brings you ‘Favela Chic in Latin Groove’ with special guest DJ Mustafa Do Brazil and singer Tasita D’Mour.

The Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Media City’s popular rooftop bar is starting the new season with a special live performance from DJ Mustafa Do Brazil on 26 October 2011, ensuring a memorable evening of non-stop beats starting from 9 pm.

“Worldwide, music aficionados follow Mustafa and his unique blends. His performance is yet another step for us to bring more entertainment and international flavour to Tamanya Terrace,” said François Galoisy, the hotel’s General Manager.

For those who haven’t heard of him, Mustafa is a French DJ and producer. After a few years living in London, he moved to Brazil in 2001 and settled in the Favella de Vidigal in Rio de Janeiro, where he recorded his album De Paris ao Vidigal, mixing Brazilian music with different rhythms like 2 Step, House, Drum n Bass, R’n’B and Breakbeat.

His songs have been featured on various compilations and the album Ginga Brasileira featuring remixes from Mo’ Horizons, Mj Cole and Groove Assassins.

DJ Mustafa Do Brazil will be accompanied by talented vocalist Tasita D’Mour. Tasita’s career has seen her performing with top acts such as Madonna and Girls Aloud as well as recording for many other known artists. Tasita’s voice is known to be very versatile and her ability to blend in with many music styles is reflected in her recordings over the years.

Guests should be over 21 year of age. Tamanya Terrace doors open at 5pm, DJ starts at 9pm.
