DP World Scores a Double Win at Transport Arabia Excellence Awards

DP World was recognized for its world leading business standards and practices when Its UAE Region won two awards at the Transport Arabia Excellence Awards 2017, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, CEO and chairman of the Emirates Group.

DP World, UAE Region won the Terminal Operator of the Year Award, which cited the regional trade enabler for its consistently high levels of performance, commercial success and have shown a commitment to invest and expand operations in the future.

Jebel Ali Port won the Most Automated Container Terminal of the Year award, in recognition of DP World, UAE Region’s consistent efforts to set global benchmarks in port automation technologies.

The Awards were received by Mr. Abdulla Bin Damithan, Chief Commercial Officer, DP World - UAE Region and Shehab Al Rahma, Manager, Special Projects - Commercial, DP World -UAE Region at a red carpet ceremony attended by industry leaders and decision makers from across the Arab world.
