DPG promotes employee development with fourth ‘Insights on Leadership’ forum

Dubai Properties Group (DPG), a member of Dubai Holding, held the fourth session of its ‘Insights on Leadership’ forum in collaboration with Du as part of its Corporate Academy Programme. The leadership forum provided DPG’s leaders with insights on best practice in business and outlined the process to achieving an effective business model. 

Introduced by Mr. Khalid Al Malik, Group CEO of Dubai Properties Group, the session included a presentation by guest speaker Mr. Osman Sultan, Chief Executive Officer of Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company PJSC (Du). As the founder of Du, Mr. Osman Sultan was able to share his insights and experience with DPG employees on the different challenges faced when setting up a company in the UAE and best practice in business development. 

Mr. Osman Sultan played an important role in what was the developer’s fourth ‘Insights on Leadership’ forum; developed to provide DPG employees with best practice and experiential advice from distinguished industry leaders from the region. Mr. Osman Sultan referenced several examples of best practice and challenges faced from his 30 years of business experience in the region. Emiratization was an important speaking point on the agenda, and was highlighted as an essential component in today’s business practices. 

Commenting on the forum, Mr. Sultan said: “It is inspiring to see that DPG continues to invest in their people with ongoing platforms like these and I thank DPG for giving me the opportunity to be a part of such an important initiative.”

The programme promotes the development of individuals through specialised skill-based learning and gives employees from all departments the opportunity to attend a variety of training courses throughout the year.
