du and Project Management Institute strengthen bonds for strategic collaboration

The Middle East region’s fastest growing telecommunications service provider – ‘du’ and Project Management Institute (PMI) today announced renewal of a strategic cooperation agreement in project management. The agreement was signed during a meeting held between Ananda Bose, du’s Chief Corporate Affairs Office and Mark A. Langley, President and CEO of PMI in Dubai.

du is using PMI’s world class project management framework in order to deliver its internal projects as well as for its flagship programs such as in its recent bid for the Smart City Initiative from Dubai Government as well as for Managed Services Solutions for its business customers. This approach is further enhanced by the company’s work with HSI (a PMI organization) to gain access to the knowledge in its global database of leading practices, which is the largest such database in the world.
