Dubai Customs Concludes Its Summer Training Program

Dubai Customs Training Center concluded its summer training program “A Summer of Giving” which targeted school and college students. Forty students were trained and educated on customs work and its role in protecting society and enhancing growth and prosperity in Dubai.
Asma Ahmed, Training Senior Manager, pointed out that the program aimed at honing students’ skills and improving their knowledge to prepare them for a successful career life.
Asma said the program lasted for five weeks and the participants received practical training on Dubai Customs different roles and tasks like those of HR Department, Client Management and Corporate Communication Department, and Customs Intelligence Department.
The training program included security awareness inside and outside Dubai Customs and violations at the workplace, plus a workshop on innovation and protection.
