Dubai Municipality announces that the opening hours of Dubai Frame have been extended by three hours. The emirate’s newest attraction located in Zabeel Park will now welcome visitors from 9am to 9pm, effective Wednesday, 21 February 2018.

Since its official launch in January 2018, the newest addition to Dubai’s growing tourism offerings, has become a popular attraction for both residents and visitors. Offering spectacular panoramic views of old and new Dubai from its 150-meter-high observation deck, Dubai Frame is expected to receive two million visitors yearly.

The tickets for Dubai Frame are priced at AED 50 for adults and AED 20 for children. Children under the age of three, elderly above 65 and people of determination will enjoy free access.

The origin of Dubai Municipality was founded in 1954 commencing its activities with a cadre of seven employees undertaking simple tasks in cleaning the city.

The first decree establishing the Municipality  was on February 28, 1957, whereby 23 municipal council members had been appointed from the elders of the country and traders with limited powers, the most important of which was to take care of health and architectural affairs of the city as well as to organize construction and beautification of the city and provide constructive suggestions to the government.
