Egyptian engineers are delighted with the unique forum of "Rosatom"

Russian State Corporation "Rosatom" has organized a unique forum "Forsage", which brings together scientists of the future generations of engineers from around the world. The international forum of young power engineers "Forsage" - is a unique platform where the young representatives of the nuclear industry, fuel and energy complex gain new knowledge, share their own projects, establishing communication with each other. Leading experts, scientists and industry executives share their experience with the participants.

"Forsage" conducted by the State Corporation "Rosatom" and the International Association of Corporate Education (IACS), with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Energy and the Kaluga region. This year the forum was attended by over 600 delegates from 20 countries and about 120 invited guests.

As part of the forum was organized the work of 11 thematic streams, one of which, "Global Cooperation", attended by a delegation of Egyptian Engineers Syndicate. Guests from Egypt confirmed their high professional level, appreciated the importance of such events, stressed that participation in the forum "Forsage-2016" was for them an invaluable experience.

Nuclear engineer from the University of Alexandria Asmaa Hanafi: "It was the pleasure to attend that forum. It was amazing. It was awesome. I had an opportunity for development and meeting such wonderful teams from all around the world also. About our project «Integrated resources and energy planning community of practice» it was challenging and I’m looking for increasing cooperation by Egyptian engineers syndicate and “Rosatom".

Ahmed Mohammed Akram - engineer of the technical department in "MINTA" company: "Forsage-2016" was really awesome; I gained a lot of experience in everything. I liked the activities very much, it helped me to communicate with my international team and with all the lovely Russian teams there and sharing our experience together. At the end, it was really very useful trip full of success and great things and I hope to get the chance again to be participant in "Forsage-2017" forum”.

Today, Russia and The State Corporation for Nuclear Energy "Rosatom" remain to be one of the major international educational training centers for the nuclear industry. “Rosatom” established a training system for the nuclear power industry, which include university, postgraduate and further education. In particular, specially for the purpose of coordinating efforts in the field of training and retraining of personnel in the nuclear industry was created a nuclear innovative educational system with the leading state university in the training of nuclear specialties, “MIFI”, with another 13 leading universities across Russia.

Implementation of the training of foreign students in nuclear sphere and sharing of vast experience through the activities of different formats is an important part of "Rosatom’s" activity. As an integral part of an integrated state corporation offers to foreign partners, education and training of local personnel are its unique advantage in the international market. So, now more than 700 foreign students in Russia are undergoing their higher education in nuclear programs. At the same time 13 Egyptian students are already studying in Russian universities, and in the new academic year has 22 students from Egypt will start training in Russia in the areas of nuclear specialties.

All students in addition to professional education learn Russian language. Profile training includes lectures and seminars conducted by not only the best teachers specialized universities, but also by leading experts of major Russian nuclear facilities. Practical application of acquired knowledge - an essential element of training systems in Russia, which, in particular, in a complex of MEPI research laboratories equipped with the latest equipment, allowing to carry out research, training of students and retraining of specialists for the leading scientific centers.
