The name of the couple, Dr. Food and Shrouqsunshine, has resurfaced after the latter announced her readiness to hold a special divorce party on August 22, a move that sparked widespread controversy online and prompted her husband, George Hanna Deeb, known as Dr. Food, to respond directly.

Shrouqsunshine sold her diamond wedding ring, which she said was worth approximately $10,000, and instead she purchased gold rings as gifts for some of the party guests.
She also said that tickets are available for those wishing to attend the divorce party, with regular tickets priced at $50 and VIP tickets at $100.
She explained that the decision to open the party to the public came after receiving numerous requests from followers eager to attend, coinciding with her collaboration with a company specializing in organizing divorce parties, including invitations, decorations, and music.
In parallel with these preparations, Shrouq released her new song, "Ma Benkaer" (I Won't Break), leading some followers to connect the song to her current situation following her separation, especially given the ongoing and escalating media controversy between her and Dr. Food.

Dr. Food posted a series of videos on his Instagram story, criticizing the way divorce parties are being publicized and questioning the purpose of turning separation into a public event and a constant stream of social media content.
He focused his remarks on his two children, Hanna and Youssef, arguing that the videos and photos being shared now could remain for years and that the children might see them when they grow up, potentially leaving a lasting psychological impact on them.
Dr. Foud emphasized that for him, divorce means each partner moving on with their life on a different path, stressing that he sees no need to turn separation into a means of attracting more views or creating a trend.
