Emergency Exercise at Al Ain International Airport on Wednesday, 25th September 2019

Abu Dhabi Airports will conduct a full scale aircraft crash simulation exercise at Al Ain International Airport on Wednesday 25th September 2019, in accordance with Civil Aviation regulations issued by the General Civil Aviation Authority, and in compliance with standards and recommendations as stipulated by the International Civil Aviation Organization.
The full scale emergency simulation at Al Ain International Airport will measure the preparedness, emergency response capabilities, implementation of strategies by all participating agencies and assess Al Ain International Airport’s business continuity procedures.
The exercise is expected to run for approximately three hours (18:30 pm - 21:30 pm). The operations of the airport will cease whilst the drill is conducted.
