Emirates Post Group (EPG), through renewed partnership with Abu Dhabi University Knowledge Group (ADUKG), has launched the second round of its “Egrab” training programme for 2016, aimed at developing EPG Emirati employees in customer and post outlets services. The programme will take one year and consists of a series of training sessions in line with best international standards, to help employees face the challenges and achieve the lead and excellence in customer service.

The programme will see two new groups of 20 participants (total of 40 participants) from around the UAE. Participants have been selected through a rigorous assessment process, based on best practices that focused on aspects such as performance appraisal results, a profiling assessment, and candidates’ qualifications.

“The first instance of the Egrab training programme was a great success story for the participants and EPG, with real gains being seen in the skills and work behaviours of all of the participants,” said Sami Mohammad Alkhaja, EPG’s Chief Support Services Officer.

The “Egrab” programme will, once again, be led by expert facilitators, and will see participants progress through seven modules developed by the world’s leading customer service training body. This is in line with EPG’s drive to align their service standards with the best in the world and to meet the objectives of the UAE Vision 2021. The initiative will provide participants with ample opportunities to engage in real-world scenarios and role-play activities to practice their new skills. The two groups of employees will start the programme this month, with training opportunities continuing throughout 2016.

“We are very pleased to be working closely with EPG on the “Egrab” programme for a second time. The evident success of this exceptional course demonstrates the real value of customising solutions to the specific needs of an individual organisation, and shows how our strategic

partnership with EPG produces real and measurable results,” added Dr. Ahmad Badr, Chief Executive Officer of ADUKG.
