Building on a decade-old tradition, employees of Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) are volunteering to distribute Iftar packs comprising dates and water to motorists during the Holy Month of Ramadan at all ENOC/EPPCO services stations. The Iftar packs are provided 45 minutes prior to Iftar to enable motorists to break their fast conveniently.

Furthermore, throughout the Holy Month, ENOC employees, as part of its Tarabut volunteering programme, are distributing Iftar packs to drivers at red lights, encouraging them to drive safely and not over speed. ENOC is also supporting ‘A Safe Ramadan’ campaign of Al Ihsan Charity Association under the theme, ‘Together… A Ramadan without Accidents’.

These corporate social responsibility initiatives highlight ENOC’s strong focus on motorist safety by strengthening awareness of the risks on the road during Ramadan, especially the busy traffic period between 4.00pm and 7.00pm, when people tend to rush to break their fast.
