EQUATE hosts Ramadan meals with Zakat House

EQUATE Petrochemical Company, Kuwait’s first international joint-venture in this industry, announced it will be hosting Ramadan iftar meals in partnership with Zakat House in Kuwait.

EQUATE Senior Executive for Corporate Communications & Government Affairs Abeer Al-Omar said, “Contributing in these meals during the holy month of Ramadan is a part of EQUATE Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program through cooperation and coordination for the benefit of the society and its members. For CSR, supporting humanitarian initiatives is a main element for sustainability that represents a great amount of significance to EQUATE.” 

Al-Omar added, “Without any doubt, such collaboration between EQUATE and Zakat House for this humanitarian initiative is a step towards supporting various sustainable efforts in Kuwait within a framework of a humanitarian partnership to embody our slogan of ‘Partners in Success’ with all stakeholders.” 

On his part, Zakat House Manager of Major Donors Relations Abdulrahman Al-Kandari extended utmost appreciation and gratitude to EQUATE for its role in supporting these Ramadan meals that are hosted in all governorates and areas throughout Kuwait for many individuals. 

Al-Kandari noted the importance of supporting such initiatives during the holy month of Ramadan in accordance with Islamic principles and human nature. 

Al-Kandari urged organizations throughout Kuwait to support the activities of Zakat House as they have a direct impact on several members of society.
