Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts launches Taste of Place, a new global initiative that features a curated collection of immersive culinary and beverage experiences, available only through Four Seasons, that invites guests and local gourmands to step “behind-the-scenes,” and take a look at diverse local culinary practices, traditions and experiences.
Participating properties worldwide have created comprehensive itineraries that will explore uncharted aspects of the local food culture, building on the personal relationships and intimate connections between Four Seasons and local food vendors, farmers, butchers and beverage specialists. Several curated itineraries will immerse guests in progressive dining experiences that unfold in unique settings with remarkable views of the natural landscape.
Those with an appetite for exploratory eating and drinking will find an endless array of choices across the different curated experiences, including the following:
- Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza:Guests will embark on a two-day Egyptian adventure that begins with a tour of Makar Farms, the best local farm in the country, to witness the care that goes into producing the Hotel’s exclusive and organic produce, before savouring a meal prepared by the culinary team at Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza. On day two, the experience continues at Al Ahram Beverages, one of Egypt’s finest grape producers, where a tasting session will be followed by an authentic local Egyptian cooking lesson with Chef Emad Ebeid from the Hotel’s vibrant Zitouni restaurant.
- Four Seasons Hotel Casablanca: The Casablanca Taste of Place experience is all about reliving the romance of the iconic motion picture Casablanca, exclusively with Four Seasons. A luxury ride in a premium car will take guests to the legendary Rick’s Café, designed after the one featured in the movie “Casablanca”. Here, the culinary experts at Four Seasons Hotel Casablanca will prepare a delicious four-course dinner in collaboration with the team at Rick’s Café. The Moroccan-inspired feast will be set to the backdrop of live jazz music from the restaurant’s resident pianist. Alternatively, guests can opt to take part in a behind-the-scenes cooking class at Bleu restaurant in Four Seasons Hotel Casablanca with Chef Thierry Papillier, while learning more about local spices and flavours.
Taste of Place joins an already extensive portfolio of Four Seasons culinary innovations, including the recently-launched “Culinary Discoveries” itinerary onboard the Four Seasons Private Jet.
