Father of three wins million dirhams with Dubai Bank Kunooz Account

In line with its commitment to help customers build their prosperity, Dubai Bank today named the latest winner of its Kunooz Savings Account draw. Mr. Gholam Hossein Pouyan, a Canadian national, received the perfect Ramadan gift when he was informed he was the August winner of the million dirham Kunooz cash prize draw.

The monthly Kunooz one million dirham draw is part of Dubai Bank’s strategy to reward its valued customers and grow their net worth. Mr. Pouyan, a 56-year-old businessman based in Dubai, opened his account in November 2010 after being attracted by the chance to win the monthly prize draw. 

“I choose the Kunooz Savings Account because of the chance to win cash prizes, although it was more in hope than expectation. When Dubai Bank called to tell me that I had won, I was delighted and rushed to tell my family the good news.” said Mr. Pouyan.  

When asked what he planned to do with his winnings, Mr. Pouyan replied: “My intention is to invest some of the money in property here the UAE for my wife and three children.”

For every multiple of AED 5,000 deposited, account holders become eligible for entry into the monthly grand prize draw of AED 1 million. The programme also offers participants the possibility to win more than once.
