HBMeU meets with UAE Central Bank to discuss e-Learning strategies for banking sector

Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University (HBMeU), a leader in the field of e-Learning and quality management in the Arab World, has announced that it has recently met with UAE Central Bank Governor H.E. Sultan Bin Nasser Al Suwaidi and other Central Bank senior officials to discuss how e-Learning programs can benefit the banking sector. A presentation was also conducted about the distinct capabilities of HBMeU as a pioneering institution in e-Learning as well as the key programs and offerings of HBMeU’s e-TQM Institute.

H.E. Sultan Bin Nasser Al Suwaidi, Central Bank Governor, said: “e-Learning is an important tool in the continuing education and training programs that are being constantly implemented in the banking sector. Other Central Bank representatives who attended the meeting, which was held at the Central Bank Head Office in Abu Dhabi, were Mr. Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Senior Manager, Human Resources Division; Ms. Nariman Kamber Al Awadi, Chief Manager of Training & Development of Human Resources Unit; Mrs. Iman Finaish, Expert – Human Resources Career Development. HBMeU was represented by Prof. Nabil Baydoun, Learners & Enterprise Development, Assistant Chancellor; Ms. Nadia Amanallah Kamali, Marketing and Communication Director, and Dr. Souma AlHaj, Director of e-TQM Institute.
