Hans Schiller has been appointed as the Cluster General Manager at Hilton Abu Dhabi and Hilton Al Ain.

The hospitality veteran brings with him 25 years of work experience in the industry spanning the Pan Arab region, including stints in the UAE, Qatar, Egypt, Nigeria and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

In his new role, Hans will take the reins of the operations of two iconic Hilton hotels in the UAE – Hilton Abu Dhabi and Hilton Al Ain. His focus will remain on engagement with guests and his team to elevate the hotels’ standards by providing par excellence service.

A German national, Hans kicked off his career in the hotel industry in 1989 after he equipped himself with two degrees in the field. He graduated from the Dr. Speiser Hotel Management School and followed it with a Kitchen Apprentice Degree in Culinary Skills.

Hans has been a part of the Hilton family since 2008 when he joined the Hilton Alexandria Green Plaza in Egypt as Director of Operations. He then moved to Hilton Abuja in Nigeria in 2012, where he secured Africa’s Leading Business Hotel Award for the hotel in less than 6 months of his appointment. Hans has also proven his strong leadership and operational capability by successfully hosting the 24th World Economic Forum in 2014 in Transcorp Hilton Abuja catering for world leaders, diplomats and distinguished officials.

In 2014, Hans climbed up the career ladder when he was appointed as the Cluster General Manager of Doubletree by Hilton Riyadh - Al Muroj Business Gate and Hilton Garden Inn Riyadh Olaya. In this role, he achieved numerous awards for the hotels. In 2016, Doubletree Hotel by Hilton Dhahran was added to his portfolio.
